First off, we apologise in advance for mentioning the ‘C’ word this early in the year, we hope you’ll understand. To be honest, as retailers, we’ve already been thinking ahead for Christmas for a couple of months now. We’re not exactly in the 'festive' mindset just yet, but there’s no doubt that it can help to get ahead of it a little.
In particular, we know things are going to be a bit fiddly this year with one thing or another. With this in mind, we thought it might help if we ran a little promotion. There are a couple of steps, but it’s an excellent way to get a quick and easy £5 off in-store.
Here’s how to get your £5 discount:
First: Pop in to shop in either our Perth Shop or Crieff shop and make a purchase between now and the 30th of September. At the till we’ll hand you a promotion slip/flyer with the offer on it.
Next: Pop in to shop with us in early October (between the 1st and 15th) with your promotion slip/flyer and spend £30 or more. We’ll then apply your £5 discount, saving you something on your purchase.
It could be a good chance to buy ahead for upcoming birthday parties or even (shhhh) get a head start on Christmas.
If you’re looking for some good bits and pieces for Christmas we’ve got a huge selection of games and toys in stock, these are just a selection of our favourites:
Early Years
Harvey Harvester by WOW toys. We’ve got one of these out on the play table in our Perth shop and it is undeniably a firm favourite. Pop the bales in and you’ll see Harvey deposit them behind him on his way through the harvest.
WOW toys are fantastically durable and friction powered (so you never have to buy any batteries to power their brilliant sound and movement features).
There are many more options in the WOW range which you can find in-store and here on our website. Harvey is currently £30 so would qualify for your October £5 discount. (PLEASE NOTE we don’t have the means to apply the discount on our website so you’ll need to visit either store to make your purchase)
Primary School Age
ThinkFun makes a mind-bending range of puzzle sets including the ever-famous Rush Hour traffic jam game. Most of their puzzles are priced between £10 and £20 so buying any two would likely get you your £5 off.
However, their Circuit Maze game is particularly interesting as it blends a maze/logic game with basic electronics knowledge with switches, buttons, and other standard components of circuits. It’s suitable for players aged 8 and up and is normally £30 (but would be £25 with your October promotion leaflet).
All the Family
Colour Brain, Colour Brain Junior, or even Disney Colour Brain. These games are all great, and better still they're pretty intuitive to set up and play (nothing worse than having to read a whole book of instructions before starting a game night).
Starting with simple colour cards in your hand, you'll have to play the right colours to answer questions like 'What colour is the lid on full-fat milk?' (Colourbrain original, 14+), 'Which two colours make green?' (Colourbrain Junior, 6+), or 'What colour are the Incredibles' suits?' (Colourbrain Disney, 8+).
The Colourbrain games are all under £30 but a couple of these or even a Colourbrain game and a puzzle and you'll qualify for your £5 off too.

You'll need to remember to get in and shop with us before the end of September in order to collect your £5 discount flyer. You can pick them up from now until Friday 30th September.
